Lake Santeetlah
Lake Santeetlah is located in Graham County, NC a few miles north of Robbinsville. The lake has 76 miles of shoreline, about 80% located within the Nantahala National Forest. Created in 1928 by damming the Cheoah River, Lake Santeetlah is beautiful, scenic, and full of fish.
Cheoah Lake
Constructed in 1919, Cheoah Lake is the first lake directly below the Fontana Dam. Cheoah is fed from the bottom of Fontana so the water stays cold year round, most days creating a tranquil fog just above the water. Its the perfect lake to hold plenty of trout and the occasional musky.
Calderwood Lake
Bordered by Smoky Mountains National Park, Nantahala NF, and Cherokee NF, Calderwood Lake is surrounded by nature. It's full of trout, offers spectacular views, and is known for it's wildlife sightings. With an abundance of rainbow, brook, and brown trout, it's one of our favorite places to paddle.
